Yos SNCO !
From today on, let us start striving hard for SYF ! GOLD.
One year passes very fast !
Perseverance.
1) SWAY to the music.
Soak yourself in the music. Let the music overpower you. Feel free to borrow the CDs left by the sec 4s ! Close your eyes and listen out for the various sections and you will realise how magical the entire tapestry of music is !

2) LISTEN.
Listen out to the various sections as the music flows. We are playing together as ONE. Not as individuals. Its like doing a project. You have to put in your best. But at the same time, every single member must contribute and SHINE. Everyone's equal, if you do your best. No one will ostracize you.People will respect you. WE have to listen out for others too ! Thats why we are SNCO.

3) LOOK.
For the sec 1s, probably you all might have difficulties but try your best. We have to look at liu lao shi and follow closely to his beat. Ever realised, whenever he puts down his hands to signal the end or to stop in the midst of the piece, it takes at least 10 seconds for everyone to notice ? This is because, though you all can memorise the scores, everyone has been so accustomed to playing at their own beats and STARING at the scores ! The conductor is the crucial factor to our CO. Its he who starts us. Its he who helps us. Its he who ends the piece. So we have to listen to him and look at his actions ! Only then can our standard improve tremendously (:

A ROUND OF APPLAUSE FOR THE NEWLY APPOINTED ASSISTANT SECTIONAL LEADERS !!! The reason we chose Sec 2s as the ASLs is because we want to groom the potential sec twos and train them to become outstanding student leaders in CO in the future years to come. SO ASLs, whenever your SLs are busy and they are not around, assist them and try to maintain discipline of your section alright? : )

A few things to remind all of you all :
1. $5 CO FUND - by next Thurs 27th July
2. BBQ Money ($6.20) - Those who have not paid, please make payment BY NEXT THURSDAY as well
3. *HINTS* The you-know-what. Please think of what you want to say and we will start work on Tuesday next week alright : )
4. Late comers have to pay $1 for every time that you are late. Even if you are late for CO after the 15 minutes break. THREE times late = ONE TIME ABSENT !
5. SHOES should be placed neatly outside the music room. Messy shoes left strewn around will be THROWN AWAY (as you know, the CO tradition)

My dear CO !

I had been searching for blogskins for the past three days but I cannot really find any that is really nice so I had decided to use this one ! : ) I hope that this blog will be a place where we, a part of CO, will hang around. It can be a place to rant your anger, to tell all of your frustrations, to announce any good news that you have or any other things. No matter what that you say, CO will give you our full support ! It is going to be SYF next year and I am sure all of us want to achieve a GOLD with HONOURS award. Others may say that we are aiming too high but I believe that IF we have the spirit and strength, as a whole CO, we will be able to make it. CO, trust yourselves ! If you never try, how will you know what will happen? If we try, we WILL get to our aim.
